Hope, Faith & Wishful-Thinking.

July 23, 2024“Action is what separates optimism from wishful-thinking.”
There is a big difference between optimism and wishful-thinking. Optimism means to have a positive mindset by anticipating favorable results based on an action that we took. Wishful-thinking is to sit there waiting and hoping for positive results to occur on its own.
Motivation without follow-through action is no different than wishful-thinking; hence why it is easy to get motivated. But if motivation is not followed through by action, motivation dies out and we will need more motivation to go on another day waiting with hope, faith and comforting beliefs for something good to happen.
Hence why Self-Relativity further states:
“True motivation shouldn’t be empty peptalk. True motivation should be an achievable roadmap followed by implementation.”
