November 4, 2024“Conformity creates comfort and acceptance, by preventing progress and success.”
One of Theory of Self-Relativity’s 10-Commandments for self-improvement is “Independence & Self-Reliance”, because when we are not dependent on others, we can have the freedom and choice to make decisions for our own Self. However, to be able to make our own decisions that are best for us, we must accept another one of Self-Relativity’s commandments which is “Self-Agency & Personal-Responsibility”. This means, we should be responsible for the decisions we make and accept its high rewards and sometimes its negative consequences.
If we don’t want to accept the rewards or consequences of our decisions or actions and if we want to play it safe, we will then be forced to follow others and have them make the decisions for us. However, as stated in Theory of Self-Relativity:
“Decisions made by others will not be as favorable as decisions you make for yourself.”
