August 9, 2024“You can only offend those that facts exposes their flaws.”
People who get easily offended are usually insecure people who lack self-awareness. As stated in Theory of Self-Relativity, feeling offended is commonly as a result of the words or actions of someone else triggering inner insecurities and weaknesses.
If you feel offended easily, evaluate the statements made at you for their factuality. If the statement is true, instead of getting offended, use the facts to make improvements. Once you make the correction, you will not get offended again. However, if the statement that offended you isn’t true, disregard the statement and you won’t feel offended. This is why, self-reflection and introspection is one of the 2 non-negotiables for self-improvement.
As further stated by Theory of Self-Relativity:
“Fix what offended you, and you won’t feel offended.”
