March 31, 2021“You weren’t born knowing, you learned from others; continue learning while teaching others.”
While most motivational and leadership programs follow cultural and traditional paths of advocating focusing on serving others, Theory of Self Relativity advocates self-focus and a centered-self living before focusing on others. Self-focus and centered-self does not mean selfish and self-centered, but it means prioritizing our self-first before we do others but not at the expense of others. To do so, we must become self-reliant and independent so that we can learn to make best decisions and take best actions in order to reach favorable outcomes.
This is why learning and knowledge are so important in being able to truly improve. Because when we learn we have a better understanding of the facts associated with a decision or an action that we are taking. Likewise, when we learn, we often learn from others; therefore, if we want to be of best value to others we must learn so that we can teach and share our knowledge with others. Since self-improvement is not an event but it is a life time process; therefore, learning is also not an event but it is a lifetime process.
