Personal Truths vs Others’ Opinions

September 14, 2024“Morality is objective, but it is applied subjectively.”
As stated in Theory of Self-Relativity:
“All humans feel joy and happiness, and sorrow and sadness, similarly.”
To take this observation a step further, most intelligent and sentient beings experience happiness and sadness similarly, and they inherently know the difference between good and bad, and apply it accordingly.
Morality is an indication of values and knowing what is good and bad. Morality is broadly shared by the members of a species, a society, or a culture, and it is enforced through societal rules and laws to protect the moral from the immoral. However, even though morality is identified and shared objectively, it is ultimately applied subjectively among individuals. Therefore, morality and a sense of good and bad must come from within one’s own Self.
As further stated by Theory of Self-Relativity:
“Your morality shouldn’t be externally derived, it must come from within.”
