April 26, 2021“To be alone means to have the desire to be by your Self; to be lonely means to have the need to be with others.”
Loneliness is a sign of neediness that is based on dependency and reliance on others; however, being alone is an indication of one’s ability to be by one’s Self without the need to have others around. In order to be able to abolish loneliness, we must learn to improve and transform our Self from within; hence the reason why Theory of Self-Relativity advocates living a “Centered-Self” life from the “Inside-out”. Centered-self is not the same as self-centered; quite the contrary it is such an important attribute that “Self-First & Centered-Self” is categorized as one of Theory of Self-Relativity’s 10 Commandments for self-improvement.
If one doesn’t know how to be alone without feeling lonely, one could be in a room full of people and still feel lonely because loneliness is an internally derived state of mind.
In order to minimize feeling lonely; we must bring the attention to our own Self and we must create our own purpose and meaning in life from within.
