Love Hurts
April 28, 2021Personal-Attacks
May 3, 2021“To consider and do for others without sacrificing one’s Self, is the mark of a truly confident yet compassionate person.”
Many incorrectly think and are taught by culture, society and religion that in order to have compassion we must become selfless and externally-focused to “serve” others regardless of how much we ignore and sacrifice our own Self. As stated throughout Theory of Self-Relativity “Selflessness and self-sacrifice is not righteous; it’s self-abuse.”
To have empathy and compassion, one must have self-empathy and self-compassion because as further stated “When you know how it is to feel something; you will then have better understanding of how others feel about the same thing.” In order to be able to have self-empathy and self-compassion we must increase our self-focus so that we can minimize our personal-weaknesses and self-deficiencies. Minimization of weaknesses and deficiencies inherently leads to the development and strengthening of our self-confidence. And, as further discussed “Confidence is a skill, not an attitude. Confidence is achieved via the acquisition of Knowledge and Experience.”
When we become self-confident we will subsequently have the ability and confidence to do more for others and make a difference in their lives.
