March 11, 2021“Don’t just believe…know!”
A belief is simply a thought that hasn’t been proven with facts. When a belief is proven with facts, it is no more a belief; it is knowledge.
A belief is a thought that hasn’t been verified with facts therefore there is a lot of room for our beliefs to be fallacious and nonfactual.
Although a belief is a thought, we often concoct beliefs in order to feel good because many comforting-beliefs are not factual and this is how motivation without action fails us. When a belief is proven with facts, it is no more a belief; it is knowledge.
In order to believe in yourself, make sure your beliefs turn to knowledge so that you can take action based on solid-footing of how reality is and not how you want reality to be. To know takes more time and more work than to simply believe; likewise, to simply believe doesn’t require much effort hence doesn’t produce much results either.
