Belief vs Knowledge

March 12, 2021“Vulnerability and Courage are overrated.
Our ancestors were vulnerable and courageous; we are NOT!
We are the entitled offspring living in comfort and safety.”
In the motivational and personal-development fields some of the new trends are to reach to extremes of human emotions in order to dramatize and sensationalize basic living attributes with extreme ideologies and ambiguous and unnecessarily exaggerated claims.
We as modern-humans live in the best ever living condition and despite negativities that we hear about, the current human being is one of the most conscientious and empathetic generation of humans that have existed. We also live the longest lifespan of humans ever because we live in the most advanced and safest societies ever.
We are not courageous to live in such luxury and we are not vulnerable to live in such safety; we are simply entitled brats who just don’t want to feel any negativity. Hence, we categorize the slightest discomfort as suffering or sacrifice.
Courage and vulnerability should be reserved to identify true human extremes.
